My name is Jenna. I am a mental health advocate in my community and I teach movement online with Daily Ritual. I believe wellness should be easy. I value practicing present awareness, allowing the power of my attention to increase the quality of all that I do.

On the mat, I move and teach with intuition using basic alignment principals weaved for continuity. My goal in teaching is for individuals to experience autonomy through self-healing.

In keeping with simplicity, my interpretation of this quote is such that Nietzsche is asking us to critically examine all parts of self and work to eliminate incongruences between the mind-projected self and being, or the ideal self and the real self. With the understanding that the mind-projected self is subject to ego and that ego is separate from being, in short this quote means to me, “cut the shit,” and I love it.
